Minacom and Sunrise Telecom have teamed up to offer integrated test solutions for telcos and cable Multiple System Operators (MSOs) that provide VoIP and IP-Video services.
Minacom is a recognized supplier of quality test automation. Most of the leading telcos and cable MSOs depend upon Minacom test automation services. Sunrise has also pioneered in testing and monitoring solutions for voice, video and data services.
The partnership brings Minacom’s DirectQuality R7 test automation platform with Sunrise’s handheld FTTx, DSL and cable test sets.
In a joint statement, the two companies said,
By combining Minacom’s centralized test platform to validate VoIP and IPTV service quality, and Sunrise Telecom’s field experience with portable test instruments, service providers will be able to control tests remotely and review results from field-portable test sets.
