Sydney-based VoIP service provider MyNetFone has spearheaded in the Australian VoIP market by registering cent percent increase in the residential VoIP customers in the last six months.

MyNetFone has reached the 20,000-subscriber mark ever since it has been listed on the stock exchange in May 2006, a company statement explained.

Company’s MD Andy Fung emphatically mentioned,

Since IPO in May, and consistent with our business plan, we have expanded our product offerings with a wide choice of customer gateways and handsets to meet the market demand for affordable, reliable convergent solutions.

The company wants to maintain the strong growth in the coming years as broadband services in Australia experiences rising trends.

With 20,000 subscribers, MyNetFone is still chasing Engin, which is dominating the Aussie VoIP market with 40,000 subscribers and ISP ii-Net.
