I have admitted Raketu as one of the Skype killers in today’s VoIP market.Based on Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Technology, Raketu’s communication services include dial out calling (rakOut) to landline phones as well as mobile phones, Instant Messaging (supporting Raketu, Yahoo!, MSN, AOL, ICQ, Google and Skype), SMS-text messaging and file transfers and sharing.
To compete Skype, Raketu had announced Try Dialout For Free promotion and Unlimited calling offer two months ago. These offers were similar to Skype offers, though Skype is ending its free offers from next year.
Robert Poe has made here a good revelation about Raketu. He says the New York based VoIP set up will kick off a big marketing and PR Push in early 2007. Raketu is introducing Windows Mobile and Mac versions.
So, shall I conclude Raketu preparing ground to compete Skype?
