In a move to break language barrier, Skype has made an arrangement with two leading firms, Language Line Services and Voxeo to provide an interpreter service in more than 150 languages for customers using VoIP service. The interpreter service will make communication more effective by ensuring callers to communicate with one another in any languages of their preference.
The two firms that teamed up with Skype will translate English into more than 150 languages using personal interpreter services. Language Line Services (LLS) interpreter using Voxe’s Prophecy voice platform will translate call-language from Skype. This service is available all the time at a cost of $2.99 a minute.
